पंजाब बाढ़ त्रासदी में मेघाश्रेय संस्था बनी सहारा

राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने 150 सदस्यीय टीम के साथ संभाला मोर्चा मुंबई। पंजाब में आई भीषण बाढ़ ने हजारों परिवारों का जीवन तहस-नहस कर दिया है। इस आपदा के बीच देश की जानी-मानी समाजसेविका और मेघाश्रेय संस्था की राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह राहत कार्यों में सक्रिय भूमिका निभा रही हैं। उनकी संस्था ने पंजाब के अलग-अलग बाढ़ प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में समर्पित भावना के साथ मदद का अभियान छेड़ दिया है। राहत सामग्री घर-घर पहुँचाई जा रही संस्था की टीम अब तक हजारों परिवारों तक खाने-पीने की सामग्री, दूध, चाय, नाश्ता, दवाइयाँ, कंबल, चादर और ज़रूरी घरेलू सामान पहुँचा चुकी है। संस्था के स्वयंसेवक घर-घर जाकर बाढ़ पीड़ितों की हर ज़रूरत का ध्यान रख रहे हैं। 150 कार्यकर्ता जुटे सेवा में पंजाब के अलग-अलग जिलों में संस्था की 150 सदस्यीय टीम तैनात है। यह टीमें लगातार राहत सामग्री पहुँचाने और लोगों की मदद करने का काम कर रही हैं। सीमा सिंह : नारी शक्ति और सेवा की मिसाल सीमा सिंह का नाम देशभर में समाजसेवा और मानवता की सेवा के लिए जाना जाता है। वे मेघाश्रेय संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष हैं। उन्होंने कई वर्षों से शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, महिला सशक्तिकरण, अनाथ बच्चों की देखभाल और प्राकृतिक आपदाओं में राहत कार्य जैसे अनेक क्षेत्रों में सक्रिय योगदान दिया है। सीमा सिंह ने हमेशा समाज के वंचित वर्ग और जरूरतमंदों के उत्थान के लिए काम किया है। उनकी संस्था ने समय-समय पर अनाथालय, वृद्धाश्रम, महिलाओं और बच्चों की सुरक्षा तथा शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उल्लेखनीय पहल की है। सीमा सिंह का मानना है कि “सच्ची सेवा वही है, जिसमें न कोई स्वार्थ हो और न कोई दिखावा, केवल मानवता का भाव हो।” “मानवता और भाईचारे को चरितार्थ करना ही लक्ष्य” – सीमा सिंह संस्था की संस्थापिका और राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष सीमा सिंह ने कहा कि “मेघाश्रेय का उद्देश्य केवल मदद करना ही नहीं बल्कि इस कठिन समय में मानवता और भाईचारे...
