Film Workshop by Rahul Rawail at AAFT

Noida: The management of AAFT organized a powerful workshop by a well-known film director Rahul Rawail for the students of school of Cinema at Marwah Studios at Noida Film City. “AAFT has a big name now and it has attracted me to be here to share my experiences with young film makers. A well educated, trained and groomed student will always be more preferable than a raw hand,” said Rahul Rawail while interacting with students. “We are lucky to have Rahul Rawail on our board, his advice matters as he has spent more than 50 years in the industry since his childhood,” said sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.   Rahul Rawail is an Indian film director in Bollywood known for his films like Love Story (1981), Betaab (1983), Arjun (1985), Dacait (1987), Anjaam (1994), and Jo Bole So Nihaal (2005). 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi at AAFT

Noida: The 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was celebrated at Asian Academy of Film And Television with the media students at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. “The idea of having Mahatma Gandhi Forum within the campus is to learn the ideology and thinking of Mahatma Gandhi. There may be thousand of books available but it is very important to practice that ideology,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios expressing different stories related to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. STYLE DECODE OF IRA (AMYRA) FOR TRIP 2

Trip 2 is back with new enteries, destinations and stories. Amyra Dastur plays the role of Ira, she’s Nazia’s (Mallika Dua’s) cousin sister. She’s really quirky, odd and very independent. Brief was to incorporate a gypsy, wanderer type of style in order to show off the difference between Amyra and the rest of the girls. Even the Indian wear which she wears is more on the gypsy zone, ‘don’t mess with me’ kind of vibe. Her style is very out there and it’s definitely in the Bohemian zone but as one can see, the prints are mixed and don’t match. It’s meant to show off her rebellious nature.
