On 19th night: Viral Savla was arrested on 19th night, from a brokers office in Borivali. He was then brought to an office site and when Viral asked for their ID’s to be shown, Police not only refused to show their ids, they also took a hard disk of the office site, from the site, without any search warrant. Was the hard disk taken to destroy the evidence?  Eye witness claim that two men were present at the time of Virals unlawful arrest, who didn’t appear to even be part of the LCB office, nor were they from Maharashtra Police, as they weren’t even present by the time they reached Kolhapur. On 20th June: Medicals were conducted early in the morning when the DYSP, Prerna Katte, arrived. She then proceeded to shut down all the cameras of the Police Station and proceeded to beat Viral while threatening him to sign certain documents, which he denied and did not sign.   He was then taken to court without any medical treatment so that his wounds would not be prominent or visible.  Once he was brought back from there and just as he was about to sleep, they woke him from the cell at 1:00 am and took him to Alankare Hall with a team of Crime Officers, Police Team, SP Abhinav Deshmukh and DYSP Prerna Katte.
